Saffron Mic 2 Saffron Mic 2 Took place April 2013, held in Birmingham. A night of entertaining and thought-provoking Sikh poetry, music and free verse. All proceeds went to everythings13.org. Hackathon Hackathon Took place April 2015, held in Cranford, London. 24 hour event had young Sikhs working on societal problems, such as political apathy. Saffron X Saffron X Took place April 2014, held in Cranford, London. The theme was “Reaching for Home”. Event hosted workshops and TED-style talks with speakers from around the world. Saffron Mic 1 Saffron Mic 1 Took place April 2012, held in Slough, Berkshire. An evening of spoken word and poetry that focused on Sikh issues. This event ran in addition to the NSYF exhibition, ‘A Candle in the Dark’. Saffron Mic 2014 Saffron Mic 2014 Took place November 2014, held in Hounslow. Event consisted of a gallery and later a showcase of Sikh poetry, music & film. The theme was “Shatter the Illusion”. 300+ in attendance. Saffron Mic 2013 Saffron Mic 2013 Took place November 2013, held in Hounslow. Event showcased 16 acts of Sikh poetry, music & film. The theme was “Bring the Pain”. 250+ in attendance. £1,296 was donated to Ensaaf.
